Christmas is the best time of year and it's a true joy to decorate everything for the season. Christmas Elf lets you add some jollyness to your desktop, with only a few simple clicks. This includes snowflakes, lights, music and even a Christmas tree and all can be customized quickly and easily.

Christmas Elf is offered completely free of charge and it can be used on any modern Windows platform. It takes only a few seconds to download its setup file and installing its components is just as fast. There are no special requirements you have to meet and you won't notice any impact on your computer's performance.

When launched, the application will immediately make it snow on your desktop and it will also add Christmas lights all around it. You can leave it working like that, but if you want to customize the effects, you can bring up a compact configurations panel, with multiple tabs, through the application's system tray icon.

You can customize everything, from the snowflakes to the lights. The application lets you make the snow more fluffy, thick of fine, more dense, make it be blown by the wind faster and make it more dense. The lights can be colored differently and they can flash all together, randomly or in other ways. Music is played automatically at startup and every hour, but it is also possible to play something on demand. You can choose from a wide variety of music box tunes or carols from different drop menus. To ad an extra touch of the Christmas spirit, the application lets you add a Christmas tree to your desktop as well. It lets you choose from several trees, which are decorated differently and make their lights flash faster or slower. The best part is that you can click and drag the tree to any part of the desktop.
